 Immunity Booster Tea Mix - Nom Yumm

Immunity Booster Tea Recipe is a home remedy that will boost your immune system, fight cold & cough. This tea can easily cure a sore throat and calm your cough!
Having this tea twice a day is the best way to stay healthy throughout the year.

INGREDIENTS OF IMMUNE BOOSTING TEA
Turmeric (Haldi) - 50 gram
Ginger (Adrak) - 50 gram
Lemon/Lime (Nimbu) - 3 to 4
Basil leaves  (Tulsi) - a handful
Mint leaves (Pudina)- a handful
Fennel seeds (Sauf)- 2 tbsp
fenugreek seeds (Methi)- 2 tbsp
Black Pepper (Kalimirch) - 1 tbsp (Crushed)
Green Tea - 100 gm





PROCEDURE -
1. At first-chop some Turmeric, Ginger, Lemon/Lime, Mint & basil leaves. 
2. Dry them in the shade for 2 to 3 days.
3. Now add all the dried ingredients.
4. Mix well.
5. The tea mix is ready to use.
6. Store this in an airtight container.

HOW TO MAKE IMMUNE BOOSTING TEA
It’s really simple! 
1. Just add a teaspoon tea mix into a mug
2. add boiling water to it.
3. stir.
4. Let it steep for around 10 minutes.
5. Strain the tea.
6. Add some honey if required and enjoy!

TURMERIC- Turmeric contains the chemical curcumin. Curcumin is proven to improve immune function with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, and antibacterial properties. It's also helping regulate immune cell function against cancer.
GINGER- It's believed that antioxidants present in ginger can help strengthen your immunity and reduce stress.
LEMON/LIME - Lemon/lime juice has citric acid and all citric fruits are known as the storehouse of vitamin C. This vitamin is good for your immune system.


BASIL LEAVES (TULSI) -Holy basil/Tulsi tea helps prevent certain respiratory illnesses ranging from cold and cough to bronchitis and asthma.
MINT LEAVE -Mint contains menthol. Mint is good for soothing common cold symptoms.
FENNEL SEEDS - Fennel seed is good for digestion, and treat bloating, gas, or cramps.



FENUGREEK SEEDS - Fenugreek seeds are commonly used as a supplement to control blood glucose, especially to prevent or treat diabetes.
BLACK PEPPER - Black pepper tea is a common remedy for coughs and sore throats in Ayurveda. Black pepper contains piperine, which is good for improving digestion and metabolic performance, thus reducing fat accumulation in our body.
GREEN TEA - We all know the benefit of green tea. Green tea contains antioxidants called catechins and epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). Green tea has many health benefits, which may include improved brain function, lowering the risk of heart disease, weight loss, protecting against cancer.
